Spring Turkey April 28, 2007

This turkey was taken at 6:45am after flying down off the roost towards my decoys. The turkey was only on the ground a short time and about 40 yards out. The bird didn't seem to like the decoys all that much and was not coming in any closer. The only thing visible to me was the birds head and I took the shot. This may be the last turkey we get of this piece of property we hunt. It is a private farm that will go up for sale soon.
