April 16th, 2006 Scouting

The afternoon and evening of the 16th were used to survey and scout properties, Mike M. and myself were to hunt for the next three days. We had an idea of where some turkeys would be hanging out by the information our guide Pat gave us. We decided to spilt up towards the evening to see if we could catch turkeys heading towards the roost. Mike M. was able to witness several large gobblers, a jake and numerous hens mill around the field and fly into the roost. This is the field we plan to hunt come morning.
